Objectif
Cette activité peut faire une bonne activité de fin d’année en troisème, ou vous pourrez préférez l’utiliser l’an prochain en seconde : elle correspond bien au thème de seconde : « vivre ensemble ». Vous pourrez aussi l’utiliser dans d’autres classes, avec des élèves qui s’intéressent à l’art, l’architecture, le design ou la technologie. Vous pourrez même choisir de n’utiliser que les images, pour passer ensuite à la phase de création, et réaliser ces activités en primaire.
Déroulement
L’enseignant présentera aux élèves des constructions originales, ou proposera aux élèves de les visionner directement sur internet. Puis il les incitera à réflechir aux spécificités de chaque réalisation, et leur but : ce peut être un but pratique ou purement artistique. Ensuite, les élèves réaliseront un projet, sous la forme que vous (ou eux) choisirez : un dessin, un plan, un modèle en 3D sur ordinateur ou en argile, plâtre ou autre….
Ce faisant, ils utiliseront, apprendront ou réviseront du vocabulaire et des tournures idiomatiques. En concevant leur projet, il le discuteront avec la classe ou les camarades de leur groupe de travail (vous pouvez attribuer des objectifs différents à différents groupes)et ils utiliseront des formulations telles que : the rooms/stairs/wall will/should/might be…..because….., so that….., etc.
Comment commencer?
l’enseignant fournira aux élèves des supports qui leur permettront de trouver des idées et le vocabumlaire de base qu’ils utiliseront lors de la séquence. Vous pouvez leur distribuer des articles ou des textes, imprimer des transparents et les faire commenter à la classe, ou vous pouvez emmener vos élèves dans la salle info et les laisser découvrir ce qui leur plait, puis le présenter à la classe lors de la prochaine séance
